A Flexowell conveyor transports bulk materials at significant inclination angles, as well as vertically.
Bulk material is transported by a Flexowell-type rubber belt fitted with transverse thresholds and side membranes.
The belt’s transverse thresholds protect the material against spilling along the steeply inclined transport section.
The side membranes protect against side spillage and allow for problem-free run of the belt on its directional drums. The transport belt is supported on rollers.
A Flexowell conveyor is an ideal solution for vertical handling of bulk materials, especially in areas with the space for a typical belt conveyor.
It is often used for filling large tanks with material. Additionally, an extra conveyor is used to get rid of pulp from under the Flexowell and direct it to the conveyor's chute.
Flexowell capacity can be up to 300 t/h and belt width up to 1,200 mm.
