Transport with scraper conveyors is totally tight and thus environment-friendly. Scraper conveyors can be used almost anywhere since various shaped of troughs can be used (horizontal, vertical, arched or inclined).
Depending on the type of bulk material and conveyor's capacity (up to 900 t/h) single or dual-strand chains are used and the conveyor’s trough width can vary from 0.25 m to 1.8 m). Scraper conveyors also prove effective for hard-flowing, sticky, hot (up to 750°C) and highly-abrasive materials, such as synthetic gypsum, hot ash, wet slag and clinker. Apart from material handling, scraper conveyors can also be used for bulk materials unloading, separation or cooling.
